Common Reports

QSROnline has a number of reports to meet that can be utilized by you and your company. These are just a few of the reports that we offer through the QSROnline Client.

The QSROnline Food Cost Module contains several reports that help explain how your business is performing in terms of food. The Sales Center, under the Menu tab, can quickly and easily provide the report of your choice related to sales.

Period-To-Date Report

Accessing the Report

To access the Period To Date Report:

  1. Click the menu icon.
  2. Hover over sales.
  3. Click on Period To Date.

Viewing the Report

This report allows you to view metrics across the board, making it easy to see all pertinent information for a specific time period.

The Period-to-Date Sales report shows the sales information the unit or company has made during a selected period. You can get to this report by clicking Menu > Sales > Period to date.

1. Select the Unit of area for which you are wishing to see the report for.

2. Select the Period for which you are wishing to see the report for. The period will default to your company’s current period. If you wish to view historical periods, you may do so by clicking on the dates within the Period box.

3. For a more accurate report, check the box next to Show Cents. Doing so will present your data in exact amounts.

4. Once you’ve selected the unit, period, and Show Cents, click the Run button to view the report.

5. You may expand the columns within the report using the Expand All and Collapse All buttons.

The report is broken into three different sections which are labeled Period, Week, and Day. This report is great for finding out the total sale amounts for the company as a whole or for individual stores for the Period, Week, or by Day. Click the Expand button to get a more detailed view of the Sales.

The date ranges are in accordance with your company’s sales period.

The Plus and Minus signs on the left expand and collapse your columns.

Daily Sales with Unit Comparison Report

To access the Daily Sales Report:

1. Click the menu icon.

2. Hover over Sales.

3. Click Daily Sales to bring up your Daily Sales Report.

Viewing the Report

This report highlights your top earning stores by showing their sales numbers in green, making it easy to determine which stores require the most attention from you.

1. Select the unit you’re wishing to see daily sales for.

2. Select the period in which you are wishing to view daily sales for.

3. By default, the Daily Sales tab at the top will be selected. If you are wishing to compare sales across multiple locations, please look at the following step.

Comparing Sales Across Units

If you are wanting to compare sales across multiple store locations, and perhaps determine your highest and lowest earning stores:

1. Select the units or areas you are wishing to view data for.

2. Select the Compare Units tab.

3. The highest daily sales will be highlighted in green, making it apparent which store is earning the most money.

4. The lowest daily sales will be highlighted in red, making it apparent which store is generating the lowest profit.

Hourly Sales Report

To access the Hourly Sales Report:

  1. Click the menu icon.
  2. Hover over Sales.
  3. Click Hourly Sales.

Viewing the Report

This report allows you to view your sales for each hour in each day for a given period. It also generates your average sales per hour, which helps you determine what times typically require more or less labor.  

1. Select the unit you’re wishing to view the report for.

2. Select the period you’re wishing the report to generate data from.

3. By default, the By Hour and Day tab will be selected, which breaks down each day within the period’s sales by hour. To view the hourly sales averages for the selected unit, click the By Unit tab.

 

Labor by Pay Period Report

This is an excellent report for viewing your payroll details. The report outlines the hours worked by each employee, as well as their wages earned. The Labor Report also totals your payroll to be paid to all employees within a unit for that entire time period.

This report shows employee labor hours in detail by a specific pay period. To access the report:

1. Click on the Menu icon.

2. Hover over Labor.

3. Click on Labor By Pay Period

Viewing the Report

          1. Select the Unit you wish to view the Pay Period Report for.

          2. Click on the date range you wish to view the report for. The date range is defaulted to your Pay Period.

          3. You can even change the report to sort by different categories, by using the Sort By drop down menu. Use the Scroll bar to view the Unit/Labor Totals.
