After setting the Forecast and switching to Tab 2 – Edit Schedule you will receive the Copy Shifts from a Previous Schedule pop-up.
In the image, the scheduler has forecasted 11,520 in upcoming sales. Select the previous schedule with similar sales of 11,311.
You have the option to copy both Jobs and Employees or Jobs Only using the radial buttons. Copying Jobs only will allow you to start with a template of jobs only. Scheduled hours will update when an employee is assigned.
Once copied you can quickly make edits and finalize the schedule. If you do not choose the Copy From option when first starting a schedule you can also select the option later.
Click the Copy From button.
Observe your projected sales for the given week.
Look at the Projected Sales column to view your projected sales for previous weeks. Then, find the projected sales figure in the column that is closest to the current week’s projected sales. This is to ensure that you copy a schedule that will supply enough labor hours to adequately cover your projected sales. Click on that row.
After finding similar projected sales and making your copy selections, press the OK button.
Upon clicking the OK button, the previous schedule will be copied into the current week’s timeline.
