Installation Checklist

Installation Checklist

Through the use of data automation, QSROnline provides you with the most up-to-date information. In order to do this, it is required that we install our software system onto the Point of Sale (POS) computer at each store location that will be using our services. Before we can install, please review the following checklist. Reviewing this checklist will ensure a quick and easy installation. Please make sure that all of the following requirements are met, and send any necessary information, such as administrator login credentials, to your account manager prior to installation.

Once everything above has been approved and checked off, your unit is ready to be installed with the QSROnline software. The QSROnline installation process takes roughly 15 minutes.

Please contact your account manager for further questions or assistance.

Administrator Username and Password Information

To start the installation process, we need the Username and Password login information for the Administrator account on the computer that is going to undergo installation. Please be aware that once we have installed our program on your computer, a new account will be created on your computer by the name of QSROnline for troubleshooting purposes.

POS Computer Access

All installations will be performed online only and will not require our installers to be physically present at the store during the time of installation. Therefore, we are going to need access to the store that is needing the install. This is most commonly referred to as Remote Access. Listed below are some websites that QSROnline is familiar with using for remote activity:

  • Logmein
  • TeamViewer
  • Gotomypc.com

If you use another software/website for remote access that is not listed above, please send your account manager the other software name, along with the login information so that we may access your computer.

*Please note that if Remote Connection is not provided, our Data Verification Team will not be able to troubleshoot any reporting issues.

Remote Software

QSROnline provides a one-time remote login to your computer using Zoho Assist or FastSupport. If you do not have your own remote connection software. Examples of other remote connection software include LogMeIn and Team Viewer. If you have your own remote connection software, you can send QSROnline the login information, so we may access your computer.
