Running the Client program on a Mac

Currently the QSROnline Client is a Windows based program and cannot be downloaded on to a Mac unless it is running virtual Windows.

Here are other options:

  • Run Virtual Windows on Mac – QSROnline has found the most success with VMWare Fusion for running Windows on a MAC. You will need a copy of Windows which may require the help of IT for initial setup, but once it is setup you will have an icon that opens Fusion and can automatically open Windows. Once opened it will be as if you are at a Windows computer. Your Mac should also have Bootcamp included and will also need a copy of Windows to run. The downside to this free software is that the computer has to be restarted when switching from Apple to Windows.
  • App 3 – QSROnline has an online site that may be accessed by going to www.QSROnline.com/app3.
The current features available on the app3 site are:

    • Countsheets
    • Invoices
    • Reporting
  • Mobile apps – QSROnline offers a reporting app, inventory counting app, and a scheduling app.
    • Reporting App – View our top four reports: Daily Email – Handheld Area, Top Selling Menu Items – By Sales $, Clock In Clock Out Exceptions Report, and Daily Email – Unit Comparison.
    • Inventory Counting App – Allows you to enter an inventory count right from your tablet or smartphone.
    • Scheduling App – Employees have the ability to view the current work schedule.
    • Managing App – QSROnline’s Managing App works in conjunction with the QSROnline’s Scheduling App. Managing and communicating with employees has never been so easy.
