The Welcome Page will appear after successfully logging into the QSROnline Client Website. Becoming familiar with the Welcome Page will create an understanding of how to navigate through the Client Website through the available features.
The Welcome Page includes several quick links, a Corporate Message Editor and Food Cost Alerts.
How to access the Welcome Page
The Welcome Page automatically opens after successfully logging into the QSROnline Client Website.
Features of the Welcome Page
The Welcome page has several features.
- Menu Button
- Company Name
- Current User Information
- Corporate Message
- Food Cost Alerts
- Quick Link Buttons
- Logout Button
Menu Button
The Menu Button is the most dynamic feature on the Welcome Page. The word “Menu” under the QSR Logo is a button that will allow users access to all reports and features available to them. The menu is then further broken down into Categories such as Company, Sales, Food Cost and Labor. Hover the cursor over the arrow next to each one of these categories to see specific reports related to each category.
The Client Website Help Guides have been organized to mimic the Menu Button. Should questions arise while reviewing a particular report or feature accessible from the Menu, search the name of the report or feature from any help guide page. The search query will provide the link to the appropriate guide. Additionally, the Client Website Administrator Guide Home Page provides articles clustered under their appropriate Menu selection. For example, the Actual Food Cost Report is accessed in the Client Website by clicking Menu, scrolling down to Food Cost and scrolling over to Actual Food Cost Report. For more information about using the Actual Food Cost Report, the guide for this report is accessed in the Administrator Help Guides by clicking Food Cost and scrolling down to Actual Food Cost Report.
Company Name
In the upper left-hand corner of the page (next to the QSROnline Logo), the name of the company is listed.
Current User Information
In the upper right-hand corner of the page, the name of the current user that is logged in appears. Just after the user’s name, the access level for that user appears In the parenthesis. Access levels are granted by the QSROnline administrator for a given company. The access level determines what features are appropriate given a user’s role within the company. To change a user’s access, see User Editor.
Corporate Message
The Corporate Message can vary from company to company and may include, but is not limited to, a mission statement, company reminder/announcement, or limited time offering information.
A Corporate Message is a great tool to keep individual locations on track with daily memos.
- To edit the Corporate Message, use the quick link in the Corporate Message box or click on Menu, scroll down to Company and scroll over to Edit Corporate Message.
- A window will open with a rich text editor. Upon making any changes to the Corporate Message, be sure to click the “Save” button at the bottom of the window.
- For additional information on how to update a Corporate Message, see Edit Corporate Message.
Food Cost Alerts
The information in this box provides account administrators with a quick glance at tasks that need to be completed in “Food Cost Configuration”. Clearing these alerts will create accuracy in food cost reporting and minimize errors during the Sync vendor bill import process. Clicking on either of the two blue buttons in the Food Cost Alerts box will quickly take the user to the appropriate screen to update the information.
For more information about managing food cost alerts, see Food Cost Alerts (coming soon).
Quick Link Buttons
Quick link buttons have been added to the web page for fast access to the most used features.
For instructions on how to update/change the quick link buttons, see Role Editor.
Logout Button
When finished with the QSROnline APP3 website, be sure to save any changes made in the current window. One changes have been successfully saved, then click Logout in the upper right-hand corner.
